Welcome to the first edition of the Golden Kneepad Cup!
In this tournament we have a snake draft system, meaning you sign up as an individual and get drafted to a team by one of the captains (you can opt in to be a captain during sign up). In case we have too many captains, they will be randomly selected from the pool.
Snake Draft: This is the most common method. The order reverses each round, allowing teams that pick later in one round to pick earlier in the next. For example:
Round 1: Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, Team 4, Team 5, Team 6
Round 2: Team 6, Team 5, Team 4, Team 3, Team 2, Team 1

This continues for all rounds, ensuring balance.
Deadline to sign up is June 30th. In July we will create the teams so you have the whole summer to train together a bit.
The tournament will take place on Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th of September, exact date and location is tba.
This will be an all day tournament, we will start in the morning and continue into the later afternoon hours.
The prize is an actual golden kneepad so it’s well worth the effort
